On Friday 24 April, EU Debate Student Club was held with EUIJ Kansai via Zoom teleconference system to have lively conversation on "Spring in Europe - scenes of diversity".
To begin with, a student who had lived in Britain for his childhood introduced tradition and typical food during Easter holidays and made a few quizzes about presents and pocket money for children. Participants learned some interesting aspects of British lifestyle which was mostly unknown in Japan. Students were then invited into small breakout rooms on Zoom to continue to talk about European spring events. An Italian professor added Easter and tradition in his country and another talked about various features in other countries and regions in Europe. Participants had enjoyable time to imagine spring scenes of diversity in Europe and were motivated to go there in the near future.
