Kobe University Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence the Third Workshop for Journalists was held on 27th October

 On Friday 27 October 2017, Jean Monnet CoE of Kobe University organised with the support of the Kansai Press Club its third Workshop for Journalists entitled "EU and Britain: Future Course of their Politics and Economy".
 Two lectures for journalists of Kansai region and general public were given by Prof. Tomokazu Sakano (Graduate School of Intercultural Studies, Kobe University) and Prof. Masahiko Yoshii (Graduate School of Economics, Kobe University).
 In the first lecture, Prof. Sakano explained the main political developments in Britain after the Brexit popular vote of 23 June 2016.  Second lecture, which was given by Prof. Yoshii, discussed the economic implications of Brexit on Japan-Britain economic relationship and on the Japan-EU EPA.
 The workshop had 15 participants and ended by active discussion and exchange of opinions between the journalists and the two professors.
