Mini Symposium for Hyogo High School Students was held on 20 December, 2017
On Wednesday 20 December, 2017, Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence organised a Mini Symposium for Hyogo High School students. The event was held at the Sysmex Hall (Kusunoki Auditorium) of Kobe University.
There were two lectures in the Mini Symposium. First, Associate Professor Masaki Kondo (Graduate School of Intercultural Studies, Kobe University) delivered a lecture entitled "Germany's Migration and Refugee Policy". Next, Professor Roumiana Tsenkova (Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Kobe University) gave a lecture entitled "Water as Matter and Energy Mirror". The Mini Symposium was attended by more than 115 students of the school.
Hyogo High School is selected as a Super Global High School (SGH) and these lectures addressed some of the important SGH research themes in Humanities and Science. Students actively listened to both lectures and raised a number of good questions.
Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of Kobe University will regularly organise mini symposia for high school students.
