EU Intensive Workshop was held on 9-10 August 2018

 EU Intensive Workshop aiming to deepen students' knowledge of the EU was held on 9th and 10th August 2018 in Room 406 of Frontier Hall at Rokkodai campus of Kobe University. Participating students had varied background and experiences, as they came from the Faculty and Graduate School of Law, Faculty of Global Human Sciences and Graduate School of Economics.
 At the beginning of the 2 days' workshop, participants checked their knowledge of the EU by EU Quiz. On the first day they learnt the outline of the EU and the EU-Japan relations. On the second day, they listened to lectures about Brexit, which is one of the latest EU-related topics, and about future of the EU integration. Besides lectures, students actively engaged in discussing all lecture topics with the lecturer. Questionnaire after the workshop showed the participats' high satisfaction with the event. Students' responses showed that besides improving their understanding of the EU, they also became motivated to make use of what they had learnt in the workshop.
 The workshop clearly provided students with a good opportunity to acquire a new knowledge about the EU and it helped to stimulate their further interest in the EU.
