Venture into the “World” from Kobe!

One of the characteristics of Kobe University is its internationality.
With a history of quickly fostering connections with the world in the seaport city of Kobe, the university has partner schools around the world and is accumulating active international academic exchanges.

Needless to say, the connection with the world cannot be talked about without student interaction.  There has been a long-term exchange program, but also in addition to this, a short term overseas visiting program in order that a student acquires a broad perspective and high expertise through experiences and discoveries that are difficult to obtain from studying in Japan.  That is the "Kobe Global Challenge Program" prepared at Kobe University.

With the programs, you will gain "awareness" that you did not have until yesterday through valuable experiences that are difficult to obtain on a personal trip. It will be the spring that will shape you tomorrow, "I want to do something like this."

Globalization is invading every corner of your daily life. Even if you don't physically go beyond the border, "something" over there can come into this side of the border and wrap you around. Rather than being passive in these movements of the world, the attitude of going out of oneself, seeing that "something" with one's own eyes, and making it one's own. No matter what you specialize in at university, this active attitude is essential. I hope that you will cultivate that attitude in this program.
