Academic English Intensive Course Spring 2021 was held (15-19 Feb)

Sixteen students, including the first year undergraduates who wouldl start the KUPES programme this April, participated in the Academic English Intensive Course that was held on ZOOM from 15th to 19th of February.

The academic English course was taught by four instructors who had wealth of teaching experience. One of the aims of the course was to acquire academic English skills which were necessary for the KUPES courses taught in English and for programmes to be offered in partner universities where the students would study as exchange students. Another was to prepare for IELTS exam which was required for the application of their study abroad.

The students made positive feedbacks, such as: “we have so many opportunities to talk in English, and I became able to think in English a little.”, “I spent so fabulous 5 days. and “Excellent teaching brought me to express my view in English. Thus, the English course enhanced students’ motivation to learn as a KUPES student from the new academic year.
