Overseas internship
Environment for promoting overseas education, support during overseas education
In order to offer opportunity of experiencing internal work environment while studying at the university, on the basis of the internship program undertaken so far, at Kobe University, we have clearly defined the purpose and positioning of overseas internship for expanding and deepening the program focusing on the development of global human resources, and we have also improved the quality of the program. Following are the main aspects of this program.
Student exchange at National University of Laos
I. Short-term work experience oriented and short-term Japanese culture introduction oriented (mainly based on cooperation and support of overseas alumni association)
Training at private companies and educational institutions in Thailand, Germany, Romania, etc.
Ⅱ. Medium and long-term work experience (nurturing professional awareness)
Internship at EU related institutions mainly through support and cooperation of EUIJ Kansai and overseas alumni association

Ⅲ. Fieldwork (intercultural understanding) oriented
Internship that allows firsthand experience of developments in ASEAN mainly through support and cooperation of overseas alumni association

School of Languages and Communication, Kobe University
International Communication Center every year plans overseas short-term foreign language training programs conducted in the respective country for languages like English, German, French, and Chinese. In addition, HUB room where students can interact in various languages with overseas students from difference countries and CALL room for self-learning are open throughout the day during the term, and there are English presentation seminars and seminars for providing guidance on writing research papers in English.
